Questions and answers
Which stores does it work on?
Almost any online store that shows a price on the product page, from big retailers to small independent shops. Price Tracker detects the price automatically. If a page is unusual, you can select the price yourself.
How are prices checked?
Price Tracker regularly opens each tracked page in the background, reads the price you chose and compares it with the last one. Chrome needs to be running for checks to happen. A failed check keeps your saved price and is clearly marked, so a website error never looks like a price change.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your tracked products, prices and history are stored locally in your browser. There is no account and no browsing history is collected. Optional anonymous usage counts are off by default. When you create a share link, only the snapshot you chose is stored, and you can delete it. See the privacy policy.
What is the difference between Free and Premium?
Free lets you track up to 3 products with automatic detection, shopping lists and sharing. Premium adds unlimited products, price alerts by notification or email, price history charts, faster checks, currency conversion, the full-page dashboard, tags, and import and export.
Is Premium a subscription?
No. You pay once for 7 days, 1 month or 1 year. Nothing renews automatically. When the period ends, you keep your products and can buy again whenever you like.
How do I activate Premium after paying?
After payment you get an activation code. Open Price Tracker, choose Buy / Activate Premium, paste the code and click Activate. If you closed the page, recover your code here.
Which browsers are supported?
Google Chrome and most Chromium-based browsers, such as Microsoft Edge, Brave and Opera. Firefox and Safari are not supported at the moment.
